A continent of exciting opportunities💡
Hello Venturer,
Despite recent economic forecasts, Africa is still a continent that presents exciting opportunities. Over the years, we have seen global businesses move a part of their business operations to different regions in the continent in a bid to tap into the huge potential available here.
But as much as we count these successes, do we also look into development plans that can lead to more wins? Do we look into policies and how they affect businesses? There are also sectors such as E-learning platforms to arm the youth ahead of a slightly volatile future, alongside innovative ideas and how they can be integrated into a standard African environment and make it work.
Out of the 54 African countries, about 19 are on the world’s poorest list. This is a reality we cannot change if we continue taking the same approach towards economic growth.
The time for Africa to take innovation as a priority is now.

The tailoring brand on a mission to restore credibility in Nigeria’s fashion space
In Lagos State, Nigeria’s party ‘headquarters’ and Aso Ebi hub, credible tailors are nearly impossible to find. This is due to the regular need for tailoring Aso Ebi (a special local attire that is sold to guests ahead of a celebration). In many instances, the tailors either have a story about why clothing items aren’t ready on the agreed date or present a completely different design while forcing clients to compromise their styling at the last minute. This tailoring brand is on a mission to change that.
