The week kicked off with news of Flutterwave (Africa’s leading payments technology company) and PayPal's collaboration to unlock opportunities for African businesses to do business around the world. We also take you through highlights of the recently concluded Africa Financial Industry Summit, resilience in entrepreneurship and the need to rethink the development trajectory for Africa’s untapped markets. Initially, the coronavirus crisis had organizations across the globe scrambling to find solutions to the sudden and widespread shift to remote work. But over the past year, you would agree with me that this has given rise to a number of positive changes. I mean, who ever thought an entire financial summit could be held virtually?Overall, remote work, webinars and live sessions aren't all that boring when you think about how it is preparing us for a world beyond COVID-19. (P.S I'm not saying this only because of the upcoming events we have lined up *winks*)See you soon!Felicia Omari OchelleSenior Editor, Ventures Africa.
